Five Minute Chocolate Fudge

Don't be caught without dessert! Make this quick and easy treat.

Five Minute Chocolate Fudge

1 lb powdered (icing) sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 (up to) 1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar and cocoa together thoroughly in large microwavable bowl. Pour milk in sugar mixture but do not mix. Set the stick of margarine right on top of the mixture. Microwave on high for 2 1/2 minutes. After the mixture comes out of the microwave, mix well and add vanilla.

If it seems to dry this is when you would add the extra milk if needed. If it isn't too dry, don't add extra milk because it will become too thin and won't solidify. If you do add too much milk and it won't solidify, you can still enjoy it as a sauce on cake or ice cream.

At this point you can add nuts or other optional tasty embellishments that you happen to like. Be creative. Try dried berries or nuts out of the ordinary like macadamia or hazelnuts. You could even pre-soak some raisins in a wee bit of rum and add those. Just make sure you're not adding liquid.

Put the fudge out on a plate that is covered with aluminum foil. Put in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes and it'll solidify quickly.

Enjoy!
